1. ‘Monoliths’ (2014)

    A fingertip of sand was taken from a beach near a standing stone structure in Bretagne, France. Each grain of sand from this fingertip was photographed through a microscope and exposed on slides. 
    The grains of sand are presented in a black vitrine leaving a ‘big bang-like’ trace in a vitrine, that seems empty at first sight. At the same time one slide is projected as a boulder in the room each day.
