1. ‘The Poets Afterlife’ (2016)

Exhibition at the Civic Room Glasgow

    The Poets Afterlife I

Partial cleaning of a bronze-plaque on the outside of poet Thomas Campbell´s birthplace. The left-over fluid from this cleaning process was collected in 5 bottles exposing the different layers of the oxidization of the plaque. Each day one of these fluids was projected in the same building.

    The Poets Afterlife II

A bronze replica from the hand of a Thomas Campbell statue at George Square, Glasgow was broken into pieces and inserted into a glass vessel. The vessel was slowly filled with water, coming from a moisture absorber installed in the same space over the period of the exhibition, leading to a slow oxidization of the bronze pieces.
